ABOUT
Dan Lindh grew up outside of Norrköping, Sweden. The piano at home got his attention as a child and he started taking lessons. The interest in music grew strongly when he got his first syntheziser and composing and music production soon became an important part of his life. He also started taking music theory lessons and early on began playing in church and in different bands, including a big band. Since then he has played in many different settings and genres through the years.

His first path of studies, though, led him on the technical journey. But the desire to focus on music eventually led him to full time music studies. First one year in Norrköping at De Geergymnasiet and then at the Royal Collage of Music in Stockholm. He moved to Stockholm in 1995 and graduated in 2000.
Much of his studies were focused on jazz and improvisation. And free improvisation really has a special place in his heart. To create new music in the moment, whether it's in front of an audience or in the studio.
In 2020, an album was released with ten spontaneous improvisations recorded at Kingside studios. Nine out of ten tracks on "The Gospel" are musical interpretations of different texts from the bible. In 2025, Dan was signed to Prisma Music Group and has now started releasing music in collaboration with them. Some of Dan's compositions can be called neoclassical or classical crossover.
